JOB GOAL:
To assist children safely through street intersections and to monitor
vehicle traffic.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School education preferred.
2. Able to lift required amounts.
3. Experience working with children.
4. Work harmoniously with children.
5. Ability to communicate with teachers and parents.
6. Good physical condition with emphasis on sight and hearing.
7. First aide training preferred.
8. Pass a background check
9. Must obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 180 Days; 9 Months
COMPENSATION:$14.35 -$16.09
BENEFITS:As per District policy
REPORTS TO:Principal
HOURS:Part-time; 45 minutes a day Monday-Friday 2 p.m.-2:45 p.m.
CLASSIFICATION: Hourly, Non-exempt

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

1. Places traffic signs where necessary.
2. Walks students through crosswalk where necessary.
3. Monitors student use of line crosswalks.
4. Reports violators, both pedestrians and vehicles.
5. Knowledge of and adheres to all policies, regulations and rules.
6. Performs related duties as required.
7. Performs all duties in a safe and prudent manner as directed.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision,
