Charge Nurse (RN), Surgical Med Surg, Full Time, Days

UC Health is hiring a Charge Registered Nurse (RN) for the Surgical Med Surg unit at West Chester Hospital.
The Surgical Med Surg Charge Nurse will support West Chester Hospitals Surgical Med Surg unit at our Level III Trauma Center, delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care and according to policy and procedures.

Education and Experience Requirements:

– Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
– Associates Degree, minimum required
– Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
– Current OH RN License
– At least one year of nursing experience required; previous additional clinical.
– BCLS required prior to patient contact. ACLS telemetry and certification(s) specific to medical/surgical, orthopedic, critical care or gerontological nursing desired.
– Membership in a professional organization is desirable, but not required.
