Our Sheet Metal Fabrication department capabilities include NC
routing, part blanking, press braking, hydro forming and hand forming.

We are seeking an enthusiastic leader to manager our diverse customer
and employee base.

SUMMARY

Provides direct supervision to all areas of the Fabrication department.
Responsible for planning and assigning work and implementing procedures
or policies. Provides the training of new personnel. Assures that
product quantity and quality goals are met. May be required to fill in
as needed for various operations within department. Must exercise
initiative and independent judgment in the performance of assigned
tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Record all new work orders and submit all work orders for processing
of paperwork for completed orders
– Complete quote packages for estimating in a timely manner
– Assure all work orders are processed in an orderly, systematic
manner to meet customer quantity requirements and time frames
– Scheduling of department personnel which includes training and
development and back up coverage for all positions
– Assure job performance evaluations are completed to meet policy and
procedures
– Recommend promotion, transfer, and dismissal based on work
performance evaluations
– Provide back-up coverage for all functions within department
– Report damaged or down equipment to the maintenance or engineering
department in a timely fashion
– Assists with trouble-shooting and maintenance on all machines
