About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant as part of the Third-Party Risk team within Wealth and Investment Management Operations. The Lead Business Execution Consultant will act as the Primary Business Liaison and Line of Business Relationship Manager for third party vendors. The Lead Consultant will be responsible for managing third-party relationships including engagement, compliance, and performance. In this role, you will:

Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives

Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate

Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance

Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations.

Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business groups functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans

Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives

Influence, guide, and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group

Manage the outsourcing process within a business group or enterprise function and accountable for managing the third-party engagement in compliance with policy

Review and understand of contract details and the inherent and residual risks the third party represented to Wells Fargo

Apply business expertise to the management of the third-party engagement factoring for identified risks and issues into business decisions related to the engagement

Monitor and manage the third partys performance to the contract and reports the output of these activities to the business owner, relationship manager, and Third-Party Program (TTP)

Review and approve TTP life cycle requirements

Reinforces third-party performance and risk-management expectations

Manage escalations from the business owner or Supply Chain Management related to third-party contract compliance, performance, and ability or willingness to meet TPP life cycle requirements (including monitoring third-party regulatory compliance)

Responsible for reviewing all negative news alerts and business reviews; following TPP Guidelines if it is determined to be material

Required Qualifications:

5 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:

Experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience with Ariba, STORM (Process Unity), ServiceNow

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to interact with all levels of an organization including internal and external vendors

Cross functional understanding of risk, policy management, and controls (e.g. operations, market, client)

Strong management reporting skills, ability to translate date into actionable information

Strong ability to effectively multitasking, effectively manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing and competing priorities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and operate successfully in a matrixed environment

Knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks and related process

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Advanced in Microsoft Office Skills

Ability to negotiate contracts with internal and external stakeholders
