Patient Registration Supervisor

Description:

The Patient Registration Supervisor is a working role that provides face to face services to patients and visitors and supervises front desk staff at multiple locations. Some duties include registering and checking out patients, ensuring patient information and health insurance is accurate and up to date, and scheduling future clinic appointments. This role is also responsible for supervision of the daily operations and staffing of the Front Desk department (11 staff) and providing clear communications, training, and performance expectations. In addition, they assist the Office Administrator with the hiring, employee touchpoint discussions, and addressing performance issues. This position will also work with the management team and client business office on the development of effective policies and procedures that assure regulatory compliance and make recommendations on programs and processes that will improve billing accuracy, identify efficiencies, and increase co-pay processing and prepayment of scheduled surgeries. This role also serves as a liaison, with client business office, to respond to patients concerns/complaints.

Qualifications:

At least 2 years of Healthcare Insurance experience and 1-2 years minimum of Supervisory or Management Experience

Additional Info:

• 40 hours/week. Start and end time can vary. Typically 7am-4pm, but need to be able to stay until 6pm from time to time.

• Paid for mileage beyond normal commute (IRS mileage reimbursement)
