Now Hiring for a Medical Collections Consultant for a large healthcare organization in the Twin Cities metro!!

Description:

• Reviews non-purchased accounts to go to collections attorney

• Confirm requirements of collections attorney are met per account prior to placement to ensure compliance (closed border, cease and desist, etc.)

• Collect on non-purchased accounts within the Final Referral department (MedCredit, non-court)

• Place outbound calls on accounts that were not purchased by ARS

• Handle inbound calls on non-court affiliated accounts

• Handle correspondence from consumers on non-purchased accounts

• Pre-screen accounts for non-eligibility (bankruptcy, M.A., APC, etc.)

• Goes through checklist for bankruptcy, fed assistance, age, balance, etc. Some accounts during the process they have to stop calling or patient moved and their not licensed to collect, or high balance accounts. 2 months of backup events need to be reviewed. First two months will be really doing just that work. There are also accounts that arent purchased that arent going to court, so theyll be trying to collect on those accounts about 20% of the time.

Qualifications:

2 years of medical collections experience

Shift:

Monday-Friday, 8am-430pm

Hybrid 50% of the time. Flexibility with what days are in office. Will be in office during training for first 30 days.
