CNC Mill Operator/Grinder

Title : Grinder/CNC Mill Operator

Job Description/Work Environment :

They will be making Cylinder Heads for recreational airplanes: Employee will need to do the following:

Be able to lift and handle these Cylinder heads through the day (20-30 pounds so it is SOMEWHAT physical)

Grind and deburr parts in between the flanges pictures

Measure and inspect parts (will be using a micrometers/calipers – they would like people to have some exposure to these tools).

Documentation of work done, defects both on computer and traveler

Operate a CNC mill – they have a variety of different machines, but don’t need to do any setups

Need someone mechanically inclined (work with hand tools, grinders, measurement tools, etc.)

Well lit. Pretty basic shop. Some older and some newer machines. A/C in the summer, heated in the winter so climate controlled

Hours :

2nd Shift: 2:30pm to 11pm Mon-Friday. (they are looking in the future to moving to a 4×10 hour shift on 2nd shift M-Th, but there is nothing set in stone yet)

Starting Pay/Benefits :

Up to $23.10/hr (After Differential)
