Responsibilities:

– Operate all manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
– Demonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific
assignments within required time
– Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
– Responsible for safety and quality throughout the production
process, including following all safety procedures and performing
manual and visual quality inspection of products as assigned
– Responsible for cleaning equipment and area before, during, and
after shift
– May be responsible for sorting product as needed to ensure quality
shipments
– Assist in changeovers when needed
– Is responsible for cross-training across multiple operations such as
presses, palletizers, seamers and/or slitters
– Responsible for working directly with team members to meet all
safety, quality and productivity goals
– Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager

Requirements:

– High School diploma or equivalent
– Experience in a fast-paced, Manufacturing Environment
– Must have the willingness and ability to effectively communicate
with peers, supervisors and other levels of the organization to
create a positive, team-oriented environment
– Ability to read and write in English
– Basic Math skills such as addition, subtraction and taking
measurements
– Must be willing to work evening or night shift and weekends as
needed based on business need
