Digital Marketing Associate (Part Time)

This Digital Marketing Associate is a part time position who will work directly on projects that will help grow Niagara’s presence and build consumer awareness of our brand and our company using digital media. This role joins our fast-paced, innovative Marketing team and will be a key part of our operations. Team members at Niagara are encouraged to think outside the box and use a continuous improvement mindset to approach projects and come up with solutions. The ideal candidate will gain hands-on experience in work related to their field of study.

Essential Functions

Identify opportunities for social media content that align with the Niagara brand identity and support business objectives

Collaborate with agency and Niagara colleagues to create unique and original content for those opportunities and others

Identify market trends and trending conversations on social media

Create regular reporting and analytics on the performance of social campaigns and recommend strategies to meet business objectives

Create regular reporting on market and industry messages on social media

Coordinate social media promotions and associated events

Manage and maintain digital assets

Work cross-functionally to complete other high-impact projects as assigned

Assist with research on new and existing projects and support major decision making

Attend department meetings and action plan based on feedback

Collaborate and communicate across all levels of the organization

Digital Content Creation – has demonstrated experience creating videos, photos, graphics and copy for social and other digital media to support project or brand goals.

Social Media Marketing – has experience participating in multi-channel marketing campaigns using social media, through class projects or prior work experience.

Written Communication – writes clearly and informatively; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information.

Intellectual Property Awareness – possesses basic understanding of legal procedures regarding intellectual property (e.g., trademarks, copyright).

Problem Solving – identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully.

Planning/Organizing – uses time efficiently; plans for additional resources; sets goals and objectives; organizes or schedules other people and their tasks.
