Specimen Processing – Temporary

LOCATION: 250 Miller Place, Hicksville, NY 11801

HOURS: Multiple Shifts Available (Day, Evening and Night)

TEMPORARY: Approximately 3 months

This position is not eligible for benefits or paid time off.

In this role you will:

• Cart and collect patient specimens
• Operate the centrifuge
• Sort samples for the track system and identify those that are not compatible
• Assist with prepping samples from other incoming labs
• Archive already processed samples
• Build loads for various lab equipment

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand and move around for long periods of time
• Ability to lift, carry and move 25 pounds

Salary range is $17.27 – 19.00 hourly. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply.
