DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will perform accounting, clerical, and computer and apply your knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices. This includes recording, reviewing, and processing financial records and documents such as purchase orders, monthly tenant accounting work and reports, and bank reconciliations. You will also code and process accounts payable, track collection losses, and post journal entries and accounts payable batches to the general ledger. Great communication skills are key as this role corresponds with software providers and property managers on computer issues. You will also have the opportunity to assist in the preparation of routine financial reports. Support an agency that makes a meaningful difference in the world with our fiscal team!

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

  REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of experience performing bookkeeping or clerical accounting work; or
An associate degree in accounting or business administration including or supplemented by 6 credits in accounting; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

Other Requirements:
This particular position also possession of a current drivers license.
