Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Dietitian for Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center located in Enola, PA. This is a brand new 110 bed hospital that is part of the Penn State Health system. This hospital specializes in primary acute care and specialty care services such as womens health and cardiac diagnostics. Enola, PA is located just outside of Harrisburg. This is a great position for a new grad or experienced dietitian.

The successful candidate will:

provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units;

perform quality improvement initiatives; and

educate healthcare team member, including physicians and nurses;

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement:

Masters degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelors degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
