As the Programs and Compliance Coordinator- Disaster Recovery and Community Housing Development you will utilize a high degree of organizational skills in the provision of administrative support, policy preparation and compliance, as well as coordination of several complex federal, state, and local disaster recovery and community housing and development programs. You will assist in the preparation and review of materials, plans, and policies for review and approval while continually monitoring and reporting on statuses. You will also provide reports for external and internal stakeholders, including state and federal compliance agencies. Programs Support and Coordination

Assist the Division Manager and program staff in the administration of multiple federal, state, and local disaster recovery and community housing and development housing programs.

Develop correspondence, reports, memos, analysis, support documentation, and other information on programs administered through the division for external and internal reporting, outcome measurement, and approvals.

Originate and track eGenda items, update materials, memos, and contracts where required, and support program staff in achieving deadlines for agenda item approvals by the Board or the County Administrator or designee.

Work cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, clients, subrecipients, and auditors as it relates to the provision of program information and compliance related documentation.

Support staff in maintaining all pertinent grant records, files, and documents, and assures completeness and accuracy consistent with applicable local, state, and federal regulations and requirements.

Manage shared documents, sheets, workspaces, and forms to support program operations and the organization and compliance of individual programs with varied criteria, policies, and criteria.

Schedule and organize meetings, special events and public meetings, prepares, and supports the distribution of program correspondence and information to potential beneficiaries and members of the public.

Grant Administration and Monitoring

Support the administration, monitoring, and closeout of the American Rescue Plan Act, State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds program and funded projects and activities, estimated to end no later than December 31, 2026.

Monitor subrecipients of funded projects to ensure compliance with funded activities, timely submittal of progress reporting and audits, and review and processing of reimbursement requests with adequate support documentation.

Track program activities for compliance with applicable U.S. Treasury requirements and deadlines, reports statuses of projects, and participate in meetings with funded project leads and the Office of the County Attorney.

E-Work/Hybrid Work: Currently this position is eligible to e-work up to 2 days per week! After you complete your first six months, contingent on work requirements and other factors, you’ll be eligible for this fantastic benefit.

Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

About You

To thrive in this position, you must have-

Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, Finance, Planning, Industrial/Engineering Technology, or other job-related field and minimum of two (2) years of job-related experience

– OR – Six (6) years of professional job-related experience can be substituted for the required education, at management discretion

– OR – Related professional program/project management may substitute for the required education, at management discretion.

About Everything Else

Starting Pay Range: $55,577.60 – $63,003.20 /year, based on your experience.
