The Associate Data Analyst role produces routine financial reporting and analytics leveraging existing toolsets. This role is also responsible for understanding proper validation techniques, executing routine data quality audits, and monitoring existing data models. The Associate Analyst will also serve as Tier 1 support for triaging and routine requests from the field.

Responsibilities

Gain an understanding of proper validation principles with direction.

Learn the data model environment with direction.

Utilize essential SQL language skillset to troubleshoot and test reporting objectives with direction.

Present data formally and informally and facilitate discussion regarding data outputs with direction.

Provide moderate analysis and ad hoc operational reports as requested with direction.

Provide in-depth “what if” data analysis using available tools with direction.

Execute data integrity/validation routines.

Utilize problem-solving skillset to triage and solve fundamental business problems and issues.

Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to use data to improve usage and operational workflow.

Use and support database applications and analytical tools and evaluate data quality, applications, and workflow functions.

Format, execute, distribute, and interpret reports using the available tools.

Respond to requests for reporting using standard templates or pre-defined reporting.

Intake, triage, respond and resolve Help Desk requests from users.

Utilize a standardized and consistent approach relating Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics.

Execute routine production data processes.

Other duties assigned as necessary to support Reporting & Analytics.

Requirements

Bachelors degree required – Finance and Accounting preferred.

Up to 2 years of experience. New grads are welcome to apply!

Beginner SQL query skills

Moderate to advanced Excel skills

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and analytical skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills
