Must be knowledgeable in furniture manufacturing with ability to train new employees

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office

Must have exceptional communication skills to provide assistance and support to create environment that fosters motivation and development

Must be confidential in all matters

Must have the ability to enforce all company policies consistently

Supervisory: 5 years

Furniture 5 years

 

Responsibilities

Observe workers as they perform various duties, ensuring all quality standards are being met

Reviewing all production schedules with plant manager & supervisors to facilitate timely completion of schedules

Perform employee reviews, corrective action, attendance reporting and other employee related issues as needed

Supervise appropriate orientation and/or training for new employees as well as ongoing coaching

Coordinate the flow of priority orders and monitor all work stations for neat and orderly appearance

Attend daily management and safety meetings

Work closely with Human Resource department to insure all department, job titles or pay changes are communicated
