Cnc Machinist

Job Title: CNC Machinist (Piqua, OH)

Job Description

Machinists will run one machine on shift – Okuma mills and lathes with Fanuc controls

Upload program to machine and follow set up instructions (set ups take about 1 hour)

Perform tool changes, offsets, and quality checks with micrometers, calipers, and gauges

Edit programs using G&M code

Lot sizes range from 1-10 parts

Shifts Available & Pay

$20-25/hr base

2nd shift 2pm-10pm

Monday-Friday

$3 shift differential

3rd shift 10pm-6am

Sunday-Thursday

$1 shift differential

Must Have Skills

CNC machine setup – Okuma lathes and mills with Fanuc controls

G&M code editing – speeds and feeds

Tool changes

Offsets

Precision measuring instruments
