[Summary:
[Manage and oversee manufacturing projects related to steel stamping and assemblies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

– Lead and control all Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) functions for new jobs awarded to Almco, including all new tooling program launch activities.
– Oversee customer service activities to ensure high levels of satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
– Manage Program Management responsibilities related to new business opportunities or changes to existing business.
– Collaborate with external die and fixture design vendors to implement improvements or modifications to new or existing tooling as necessary.
– Verify that all design features are as intended and ensure that all authorized design changes are accomplished and properly documented.
– Maintain appropriate technical training and stay current with developments in the relevant field of expertise.
– Demonstrate proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDandT), welding symbols/specifications, and surface finish requirements.
– Actively participate as a member of the APQP and Continuous Improvement Teams, contributing to process enhancements and efficiency improvements.

– Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.
– Proven experience in manufacturing, particularly with steel stamping and assemblies.
– Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
– Excellent communication and project management abilities.
– Proficiency in project management software and tools.

[Must possess ability to read and interpret documents such as company safety rules, process/work instructions, and ISO operating procedures. Ability to speak effectively before groups of managers and employees of Almco Steel Products.
