Description:

A TEKsystems guest-entertainment client is seeking a couple of SDETs to join their team. These individuals will work closely with the development team to build automation scripts and frameworks, transitioning from primarily manual testing to automation. Strong communication skills, the ability to facilitate knowledge transfer, and effective collaboration are essential. The current toolset includes Playwright (experience with Selenium is acceptable due to its browser-based nature) and Apache JMeter. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Jira, is preferred. This role can sit remotely, although it is a preference for hybrid model in Sioux Falls, SD.

Top Skills’ Details:

Proficiency with browser developer tools, SOAP, REST, React, and Angular.

Experience in building automation frameworks.

Healthcare industry experience is preferred.

Skilled in scripting with Java, JavaScript, and Python.

Experience with the Playwright automation tool.

Experience testing applications deployed with AWS services (EC2, SQS, Lambda, S3, RDS, SNS, IoT, ECS).

Experience with Docker containers and orchestration.

Experience working with virtual machines in Linux environments.

Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including setting up CI/CD pipelines with quality gates.

Experience with WebSocket APIs.

Experience with mobile test automation for native iOS and Android applications.

Proven experience in establishing robust hybrid test automation frameworks (frontend, API, and backend) using open-source toolsets.

This role requires familiarity with cloud infrastructure. Initially, the focus will be 80% manual testing and 20% automation, shifting towards more automation as the framework is built out. Experience with device or hardware testing and supporting internal solution buildouts, especially in a remote work environment, is beneficial.
