SUMMARY

Responsible for loading and unloading trailers, providing materials to various production departments, and transporting materials and mail between Data-Mail facilities and designated vendors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Worker Requirements:

Load skid of materials into racking system using the Reach Trucks

Load and unload materials/mail into trailers using fork truck and electric ride on hand trucks

Provide material to production staging area, shipping department, sample requests and recycling trailers.

Perform physical inventories and quality checks of all materials

Repack materials and utilize floor scale to verify counts and weights.

Truck Driver Requirements:

Drive Class A and B vehicles, company vans and pick-up trucks

Load and unload materials/mail using fork truck and electric ride on hand trucks.

Keep accurate driving log records.

Maintain effective communication with Supervisors regarding loads at both facilities.

Serve as yard jockey in both Newington and Windsor Plants

Processing, scanning and securing materials for each load in safe and efficient manner. Ability to process materials for inventory use and locate materials in rack warehouse system, using barcode functionality.

General Work Requirements:

Keep work areas neat and clean, including all company vehicles.

Comply with company rules and regulations.

Maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data.

Implement a commitment to quality philosophy and recommend methods and procedures to reduce cost and/or improve operating efficiency of the department.

Keep manager/supervisor informed of situations that will affect the achievement of corporate or department goals and objectives.

Perform other related duties, as required, to achieve the goals and objectives of the department and company.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED

1-2 years’ experience operating a reach truck

CDL Class A license is required
