CHMC – OFFICE NURSE I-Pediatrics

CHMC- Pediatric Office Nurse I (RN/LPN) – Full Time-8-4:30p- Day Shift – Requisition 7905

Pay Range: $36.54-$60.29

Provides care for patients in an ambulatory, Behavioral Health care setting in collaboration with a mid-level practitioner or physician. May include supervision of LPNs or support staff. Due to the isolated nature of clinic practice, demonstration of ongoing professional growth is mandatory. Strong patient teaching skills. Knowledge of growth and development across the life span with the ability to use that knowledge to individualize the plan and delivery of care. Sustained efforts to maintain current knowledge base regarding professional and practice issues.

Clinical Coordinator and/or Director of Mental Health Unit

EDUCATION:

Required:

Graduate from an accredited nursing program

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Required:

Current NYS RN or LPN license

BLS certification (infant, child and adult CPR) required

Preferred:

ACLS desirable

TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:

Required:

Three (3) years Behavioral Health or other related nursing experience

Strong patient teaching skills and an interest in mental health and psychopharmecology

Knowledge of growth and development across the life span with the ability to use that knowledge to individualize the plan and delivery of care

Sustained efforts to maintain current knowledge base regarding professional and practice issues

RN preferred but qualified LPNs will be considered (payscale will differ for LPN)

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
