MHS health care facilities include a 40-bed infirmary and three satellite school nurse offices in each school building, so students have immediate access to high-quality health and wellness care. When students have specialized health care needs, MHS provides the students with transportation to and from their off-campus medical appointments. Schoolwide initiatives related to wellness ensure that a holistic and healthy approach to student development is embraced throughout the students’ MHS experience. Qualifications

Degrees of certifications in health care.

Experience providing pediatric health care to diverse students from disadvantaged backgrounds desired.

Positive behavioral management skills.

Highly skilled in effectively collaborating with others, including multi-disciplinary teams.

Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills are required.

Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are considered role models for students.

Candidates must be willing to actively engage with students beyond the classroom.
