Summary You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Strike Weapons & UAV Division, Logistics Integration Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. This Position is located in Patuxent River Maryland, in support of PMA-242 Guns Team. Responsibilities You will provide logistics technical assistance to the PMA-242 GUNs team under the direction of the Assistant Program Manager Logistics (APML). You will assist in the development and periodic updates of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documents, including Maintenance Plans and Life Cycle Sustainment Plans. You will determine logistics support resources needed for maintenance, technical data, training, facilities, and packaging requirements for weapon systems. You will collect, analyze, and interpret specialized logistics information to support program efforts throughout the systems life cycle. You will offer technical advice and recommend solutions to complex logistics issues, supporting various NAWCWD organizations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band (DS-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Providing logistics support and technical assistance for product sustainment, system safety, and addressing fleet and stakeholder concerns; 2) Managing and tracking the scheduling and progression of gun system maintenance, repair, and upkeep through both commercial and organic repair activities; 3) Coordinating repair actions and schedules between external stakeholders, ensuring alignment between commercial and organic repair efforts; 4) Managing data related to gun system readiness and inventory, ensuring accurate status tracking and reporting; 5) Developing and updating training programs for fleet personnel, including reviewing and revising courseware and training aids.
