Summary You will serve as an IT Specialist (ENTARCH/DATAMGT) in the NAVAIR Digital Department of NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND. Responsibilities You will provide project management and technical expertise to develop, acquire and implement IT/IM-based solutions. You will advise and works collaboratively with other leads, reporting seniors, supporting NAVAIR groups and NAVAIR customers to define top-level long-range objectives and plans for the evolutionary enhancement of the Command. You will perform program reviews for applications development projects, including review and endorsement of engineering/technical program planning documentation, Project Management Plan, Work Breakdown Structure, Program Objectives and Milestones. You will ensure that NAVAIR-level policy and process guidelines for critical program areas are consistent with the broadly defined guidance received from higher echelons. You will provide business intelligence; systems integration; applications planning; development and design; programming; data management/data warehousing; application life cycle planning; and web/application development and design. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ability to develop and maintain architecture to support corporate data management and common business applications. 2) Ability to provide project management and technical expertise to develop, acquire and implement IT/IM-based solutions. 3) Ability to serve as senior expert and consultant to top agency leadership to advise on integrating IT programs 4) Expert knowledge of IT policy and planning concepts, methods and practices. 5) Expert knowledge of the broad and functionally diverse field of IT systems analysis, design, applications development, implementation, and support.
