Training and Travel Coordinator

As the Training and Travel Coordinator , you will provide administrative support to the Project Management Office Staff (PMO). Maintains a close and highly responsive relationship to the day-to-day activities of the PMO which includes understanding the training and travel requirements of employees. Works independently, receiving a moderate amount of detailed supervision and guidance. The position requires an individual who is detail orientated, able to manage multiple tasks, and can register/reserve multiple people for training and travel.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (not limited to duties as described – performs related duties as requested)

Provides principal administrative support in the Project Management Office.

With only general instructions, provides a variety of administrative support in reviewing and maintaining project documentation and deliverables to the customer.

Maintains a close and highly responsive relationship to the day-to-day activities of the supervisor and staff.

Works fairly independently, receiving a moderate amount of detailed supervision and guidance.

Assisting new employees with OCONUS travel

Understanding our Client’s travel requirements and making appropriate travel recommendations

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

This position involves heavy customer (employee) interaction and therefore requires superior customer service

3-5 years of experience as a training or travel coordinator

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience

Knowledge & Skills:

Proficiency using Microsoft products (WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project) work management systems such as MAXIMO, CMMS a plus.

Physical Demands/Working Environment Office Environment:

Limited physical demands, possible travel for 3 or 4 days to domestic locations

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Top Secret w/ a Full Scope Poly.

Additional Requirements:

· Valid driver’s license

· Safe driving record
