Responsibilities You will be responsible for processing Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders, Non-Temporary Storage (NTS) orders, and Storage In Transit (SIT) extensions for Household Goods (HHG). You will Conduct PCS counseling sessions and training. You will conduct extensive research of Joint Travel Regulations (JTR). You will provide advice and guidance to all levels of NCIS employees worldwide on travel regulations and allowances. You will assist the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on PCS front-end processing. You will train junior PCS program specialist. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-11: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience researching and assisting with the interpretation of travel regulations to provide advice and guidance; and creating PCS orders in accordance with travel regulations. GS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience researching travel regulations to provide guidance; and assisting with the creation of PCS orders in accordance with travel regulations Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:Miscellaneous Administration and Program Series 0301 (opm.gov) Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Education GS-11: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related GS-09: masters or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
