HOW A PROGRAM SR MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of external company program(s). Directs all phases of program(s) from inception through completion. Organizes interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the program on schedule and within budget constraints. Responsible for program(s) with annual revenues $10 to $50 million. Serves as the primary contact for the customer on matters pertaining to the program.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manages one or more medium to large teams of responsible for Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning capabilities
Design, implement, and maintain strategic, multi-disciplinary artificial intelligence (AI) programs for client delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and software development, to define product requirements and roadmaps that support government needs
Stay current with the latest AI trends, technologies, and best practices to inform product strategy
Communicate product vision, strategy, and updates to stakeholders, including senior management and external partners
Supervises assigned technical and administrative staff, including subordinate supervisors, and performs personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation
Responsible for profitability and revenue growth of assigned program(s)
Assures quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits
Performs business development activities at all stages, including the preparation and review of technical and cost proposals
Coordinates and monitors sub-contractor activities and administers subcontractor deliverables and finances

Education
Bachelors Degree in related with five (5) years of applicable experience.
Skills and Abilities
PMP, ITIL, CSM, Six Sigma certifications or others specific to job assignment preferred
Ability to manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously
Effective business development skills including proposal development and preparation
Effective communication skills
Detailed knowledge of relevant government regulations and standards
Effective administrative and organizational skills
Effective people management skills
Extensive knowledge of company policies, processes, and procedures
Understanding of company strategic goals and how they align to business operations

The likely salary range for this position is $134,597 – $151,389. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
