JOB TITLE: Senior Consultant (Infor LN/Technical)
DUTIES: Act as a point-of-contact for PCG Infor LN customers to resolve post-migration technical and non-technical inquiries via phone and electronic means, supporting customers in the end-to-end
implementations of the Infor products. Aid with technical inquiries regarding the use of and troubleshooting of ERP solutions for customers. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction while meeting guidelines. Provide health check-up for ERP through systems study for the implemented ERP system and suggest best practices in the market. Liaison between the customer and software vendor. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of software systems. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Confer with data processing or project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities for software system projects. Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance. Coordinate the installation of software systems. Take lead and be responsible for facilitating customer resolutions by providing advice and assistance to customers and their situations for escalated issues. Practice and train in area of expertise, LN Technical areas, and acquire new skills in Infor LN. Coordinate with functional consultants and customers for requirement analysis and solution designing. Prepare technical specification and unit test case documents. Facilitate technical user training sessions. Development of reports, custom functionality, integrations using Infor BOD, BDE, LN Extensibility, Infor Workflows, Data/Document flows. Perform Data Migration of Sales, Purchase, Manufacturing, Projects, Finance modules using Infor proprietary technology/SQL, PCG Migration Tool. Configure Document Management suite to archive the printed documents from LN. LN Technical Consultant in developing software design, analysis, development, testing and implementation. Experiences on Web services like BODs, BDEs, XSLT developments. Hands on in application development using BAAN SQL, ERP LN Report Designing, file operations within ERP LN. Develop new components/ customize existing components in BaaN / Infor/ LN development environment using BaaN/ Infor/ LN Tools, based on technical specifications. Development of Reports using ERPLN Report Designer & Infor Reporting. Configuration of Reports using Document Object Management (DOM). Participated in full life cycle of application development with technical Components (DAL, Ln Extensibility, User Exits, AFS, MMT, DLL, Functions, Customer Defined Field). Provide post go-live support for multiple projects. Installation and configuration of Infor products (Infor OS, LN, BAAN) in on-premise and Multi-Tenant environment. 5%-10% occasional domestic travel to unanticipated client sites throughout the US, as needed. 100% telecommute role from any U.S. location. Report to Maineville, OH.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline and 5 years of progressive post-bachelors experience as a Senior Systems Engineer, Senior Systems Consultant, Systems Engineer, Software Engineer, or related field, performing development and implementation.. Special Skills: Experience must include:
1.  5 years of experience with Managed Enterprise Applications including Infor LN, Baan IV, and Baan V.
2.  3 years of experience working within an ITSM Ticket System (ConnectWise) tracking support time for a service request, issue, and problem resolutions.
