Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
Responsible for machine startups and PLC programming of those machines. You will handle a wide variety of responsibilities with control systems, process systems, and vision systems. You will be part of projects from concept to deployment. You will start in the training program unless you have refrigeration industry experience, due to its unique nature. Training is provided to familiarize you with specialized equipment. You will join a team with one other Controls Engineer and support all projects from design to quoting. You will interface with customers both on-site during travel and throughout the length of the project, providing future assistance as needed. You will travel 25% of the year, typically Monday to Friday, with all expenses paid. Special compensation is provided for flying, with an 8-hour work period paid regardless of flight duration. You will work four 10-hour days with Fridays off, except when traveling. You will receive 3 weeks of PTO, including sick time. You will cover industries such as Food and Beverage, Water and Wastewater, Coating Industry, Automotive, Process Control, Manufacturing, and HVAC. Most of your time will be spent in the office, with around 10% in the shop if needed.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Walker, Michigan.
Work Environment
Average office space where everyone has their own office. The office is kept clean and air-conditioned. You will spend 10% of your time in the shop, 25% on the road, and the remainder in the office.
