Restaurant Cashier

Hiring teachable individuals that are willing to welcome customers with a warm smile, serve them respectfully, swiftly, and effectively with an honest, positive, friendly and exuberant attitude.  Hiring 1-2 full time and 1-2 part time cashiers.  Some flexibility on hours, starting pay will depend on skills and previous experience.  Offering paid time off and retirement match up to 3% to all employees after 6-month anniversary.  Possessing any food service, allergy, leadership or management certifications will increase starting pay.

Responsibilities include:

Interacting graciously with customers, taking orders at the counter & via telephone, while suggestive selling to increase sales.

Taking payments and present change to customers for online, in-person and telephone orders.

Gather food orders for take-outs, gather dine-in items (plates, cups, forks) for dine-in customers.

Manage the register, including all credit card, DoorDash and cash operations.

Ensure a balance of the register at the end of the shift or working period.

Function as the host/hostess of the restaurant.

Appeal to impatient or irritated customers, especially during rush/peak meal-time hours.

Ability to switch roles quickly between performing major restaurant tasks and attending to the needs of customers.

Ability to perform smaller tasks to assist other crew members in opening or closing the restaruant along with helping with daily prep.
