Customer Service Representative

JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Residential Customer Service Representative will
be responsible for interacting with customers daily via walk-in, phone,
or email. They will answer phone calls, help walk-in customers, put
together quotes, and are the face of the organization to customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities will include the following:
Required to wear and use personal protective equipment per Tri City
Glass & Door and contractor policies. Working with customers to schedule
measurement of product to ensure correct dimensions for ordering of
product. Listen to the customers to help identify their needs and wants
to best match products to the customers. Accurately enter measurements
into the software program to receive the final pricing and drawings for
projects. Prepare accurate work orders and invoices to quote jobs.
Communicate final pricing to customers and process down payment in a
timely manner. Process completed orders by collecting full payment by
using established payment methods including cash, check, and approved
credit or debit cards. Attend and participate in quarterly safety
meetings. Work on your feet for extended periods of time. Perform other
duties as assigned. OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous background
in blueprint reading and scheduling, plus. Previous
construction/residential installation experience, plus. Excellent
communication skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to work well in teams. Ability to prioritize, multitask, and
problem-solve. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools. Must
be able to accurately read a tape measure and do shop math. Ability to
regularly lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform physical
tasks for extended periods including standing, walking, climbing,
bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting over surfaces.
