About the Role As a Product Specialist at Watlow within our Industrial Control Systems group, you will have the opportunity to learn and interact with our expansive product lines. Is Power your area of interest? We have a variety of Power Controllers and Switches for you to work with. Maybe you are more data focused and want to expand your knowledge within our Data Recording products? Or do you have interest in Temperature and Process Controllers, which range from simple to very complex designs. All these product types and more are available through Watlows innovation to serve our diverse customer base in a variety of industries such as energy, food, medical, semiconductor, environmental, and more. Regardless of which area you are interested in, we will train you play a crucial role in supporting our customers and sales channels with product advice, selection, application, and set-up. You will be the go-to liaison for engineering support on smaller customer projects and technical inquiries. Your ability to prepare and present quotes, provide technical support post-sale, and maintain strong business relationships will be key to your success. Your Key Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and peers and with external customers. Establish and cultivate a working knowledge of products and their applications. Support and educate customers, distributors, and sales agents on product selection and product application. Serve as a technical resource post-sale and assist with product investigations. Support new product development teams by providing input based on your product and customer learnings. Work closely with cross-functional teams to assess business opportunities and develop product growth strategies. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree, or two-year degree and related experience, or equivalent experience (5-8 years) Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Teams, Word) Strong customer-facing skills and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Fluent in English. Strong analytical and debug skills. Self-starter and desire to learn. Ability to work independently and know when to refer issues to others. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience in using business systems to achieve results and improve processes. Desired Qualifications Bachelors or two-year degree in a Science or Engineering field. Experience in Electrical or Data collection fields.
