Job Title: Food Production Associate/Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Food Production Associate/Operator, you will play an important role in ensuring our production processing lines and machinery run smoothly. Your tasks will include unloading/loading materials, following recipes, weighing/measuring raw ingredients, operating equipment, packaging the final product, and performing various quality checks to meet company and customer requirements. You will assist in different areas of the production process as needed.

Main responsibilities include unloading incoming shipments to supply production lines, safely operating manufacturing equipment and machinery, handling raw materials, and moving products throughout the process. You will work closely with other Production Workers to check product quality and complete production tasks by set deadlines. You must adhere to production quotas and complete cleaning activities as needed. Additional responsibilities may include using warehouse equipment like forklifts to organize and retrieve products for shipments, packaging products, stocking production materials, and performing basic maintenance of machinery and workstations.

Hard Skills/ Must Haves

3 Years of Manufacturing/Production Experience

6 Months of Food Manufacturing Experience (Knowledge of Food Handling/GMPs)

Machine Operating, Packaging, Unloading shipments to supply production lines

Soft Skills

Flexibility to assist in various areas of production as needed

Attention to detail to maintain production records and ensure quality standards

Ability to follow SOPs and Good Manufacturing Practices

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 720 Hour(s).

Available Schedules

Shift A- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (every other Wednesday) 6am to 6:15pm

Shift B- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (every other Wednesday) 6pm to 6:15am

12 hours shifts: 8 hours of regular pay and 4 hours of OT

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Union City, California.

Work Environment

Food Manufacturing Environment with both hot (105°) and cold (68°) conditions. One side of the facility is a hot manufacturing operation, while the other is a cold chocolate cooling/packaging operation.
