Qualification: Good physical condition, ability to satisfactorily complete Bus Driver Training Program and licensing requirements.
Starting pay breakdown:
Bus Driver Trainee $20.00 hr
Bus Driver New-Hire $23.00 hr
Bus Driver $24.00 hr

Job Goal: To transport students safely to and from the school they attend and to school related activities.
Civil Service: Non-Competitive (Bus Driver II)
Performance Responsibilities:
Transports students to and from school safely.
Transports students to and from school activities and on educational field trips.
Maintain order on bus, report students who create disturbance and or refuse to cooperate with driver to Building Principals or Transportation Supervisor on forms provided.
Routine daily inspection of assigned bus, i.e. lights, tires, gauges, add gasoline and oil as needed.
Sweep out bus daily, wash bus weekly, hose down bus when necessary.
Fill out daily report in reference to routing and mechanical problems that need the attention of Transportation Supervisor and or Bus Mechanic.
Attend bus drive skill and safety courses as required.
Perform other duties as required by immediate supervisor.
Subject to reference check, drug screening and criminal background check.
