If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer II based in the US on the AP1000 Bulgaria project. Must possess the ability to travel domestically and internationally as projects require (up to /- 25% for peak times).

This position is hybrid in nature at the discretion of the manager typically requiring 2-3 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters facility in Cranberry Woods, PA located in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. No relocation will be provided for this position. We are able to entertain all candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future as we are unable to sponsor Visas for this opportunity.

Your Day-to-Day:

Compile existing technical design information across various technical areas into reports utilizing applicable quality procedures and job aids
Assess incoming customer requests, develop response plan
Independently and with limited guidance interact with various engineering groups and other departments involved in a new build project to drive the delivery of engineering commitments on time and with the appropriate quality
Define scope, schedule and estimate engineering hours per customer provided RFQs
Integrate scope, schedule and estimate engineering hours inputs from the different engineering groups
As necessary lead the interaction with the BU and customers thru presentation and articulation of technical solutions
Support various aspects of future bid and proposal efforts in various European countries
Supports the Project Engineering Manager and Design Technical Lead

Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
Masters degree in engineering, Nuclear, Mechanical or Power Engineering are preferred
A minimum of 3 years of related experience. 3-6 years typically.
Effective oral and written communication in English
Ability to establish effective networks across various functional areas
Knowledge and effective use of Microsoft Office suite
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as projects require (up to /- 25% for peak times)

Nice-to-Have:
Familiarity with the Bulgarian language
Masters Degree
