Earn $17.35/hour 
Position Details 
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-3:30 pm
The intake coordinator provides telephone and walk-in intake services for consumers of the Base Service Unit (BSU) and Merakey in Cumberland and Perry Counties. In this role, they complete consumer assessments, determines needs, prepares referrals, and enter the intake data into electronic systems. 
Duties and Responsibilities 
 Forward BSU intakes for liability determination and service provider information. 
 Complete and forward consumer registration forms for all Merakey services. 
 Refer consumers to appropriate community services if needed. 
 Respond to inquiries about Merakey programs, admission criteria, and waiting lists. 
 Arrange signed releases of information for BSU and Merakey as required. 
 Participate in maintaining information storage and retrieval systems. 
 Assist in activities required by BSU contractual obligations. 
 Adhere to all relevant policies and regulations. 
 Comply with Merakey ethics and code of conduct. 
 Participate in continuing education and attend required meetings.
