Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Stockroom Attendant.

The hours for this role are 9:00am-5:30pm

The hourly rate for this position is 22.50 per hour.

What you’ll do:

Primary Functions:

• Control, distribute and inventory current and new fixtures and tooling components.

• Place orders for replacement parts with ME team in order to keep fixtures and tooling in good working condition.

• Repair current tooling when necessary (Tap threads, replace tooling components).

• Stock and control weld wire overflow cabinet. Stock and control weld wire distribution cabinet.

• Inspect parts, verify lot numbers, and perform packaging of shipments or kitting material

• Monitor the stock/inventory in order to ensure on time delivery

• Work with MRP system (MFG Pro) to monitor inventory levels and resolve issues

• Kit job parts per bill of materials to deliver to welder

• Deliver parts to ultrasonic cleaning and Plating as necessary

• Perform other duties and tasks as necessary

• Participate in continuous improvement of processes

• Work in accordance with general safety rules and practices

• Perform all 5S activities and keep immediate

Qualifications:

Basic Qualification:

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of one year’s experience in material handling and shipping/receiving for manufacturing environment

• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate Beltsville area (50 miles) will be considered for this position.

Skills:

Position Criteria:

• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

• Must be self-motivated and able to work without supervision

• Must possess good math and troubleshooting skills.

• Capable of interpreting schematics and technical drawings.

• Requires frequent lifting, bending and operation of mechanical equipment.

• Must be able to lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis.

• Must be able to use both hands constantly and work in adverse weather conditions.
