The role you’ll contribute:

The HR Project Manager focuses primarily on journey mapping (solving problems and designing solutions) and implementing change (initiating, planning, and executing projects and managing change impacts). Develops work plans, tracks progress and delivers status reports for Human Resources Centers of Excellence (COE), HR Information Systems (HRIS), & HRSS (Human Resources Shared Services). HR Project Manager keeps track of project tasks, communicates updated status with people from various departments within human resources & business development, performs follow-through to ensure timely execution, provides timely and accurate status reports, and identifies potential risks or delays that could impact successful transition. Maintains precise written documentation and produces effective presentations that assist project leads for leader presentations, task identification, tracking and completion. The HR Project Manager requires the ability to work in a constructive, non-biased and collaborative manner by establishing positive work relationships, partnering with facilities, training and other departments to drive success. The HR Project Manager helps prioritize goals, identify gaps and is responsible for maximizing the use of appropriate and available technology resources.

Prepare / help prepare reports, summaries, and other materials for governance meetings, business case reviews, and project reviews

Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects to ensure business and project objectives are met

Utilize standardized inputs, tools, techniques, and processes for project integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, communication, risk, and stakeholder management

Develop project charters and plans; direct, manage, monitor, and control project work; and perform integrated change control (manage changes to scope, schedule, and resources)

Collect or ensure the collection of requirements; define scope and create work breakdown structures; validate and control scope

Develop and maintain continuous improvement of a comprehensive and repeatable HR integration plan and process strategy (i.e., HR playbook, process flows, work plans) to facilitate the smooth transition of acquired entities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and enhanced team member experience.

Plans and participates in culture integration as needed.

Establish and maintain project timelines, deliverables, milestones, and KPIs (key performance indicators), tracking progress and providing regular updates to key stakeholders.

Identifies any potential risks and executes associated contingency plans to facilitate the smooth transition of the strategies.

Maintains awareness of management responsibilities and project status including any potential delays, situations or concerns that may affect development or implementation.

Identifies gaps and coordinates Human Resources activities, project schedules and interfaces between key stakeholders.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, tools, and methodologies, leveraging lessons learned from previous transactions.

Can present data and translate complex issues into comprehensible ideas in a concise and easily understood manner with internal stakeholders

Works well with people at all levels of the organization and leads group efforts toward the resolution of complex problems in a professional, courteous, and impartial manner. May assign tasks to internal teams, assist with schedule management, and ensure work is completed accurately and timely.

Build trusted and strong working relationships with all stakeholders across the organization

Manages multiple priorities by adequately assessing highest risk issues/areas for focus.

Supports departmental strategic planning processes and implementation of action initiatives.

Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the Human Resources department.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

Bachelors degree in business administration, Human Resources or another related field, OR Associate degree and two years of Healthcare or Project Management experience

Understanding of project management processes & principles

Experience with executive-level communications and presentations

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

Experience in human resources and/or shared services

Continuing education and / or experience in project management, change management, organizational development, business, IT
