Our client provides turnkey construction support across the Telecommunications industry supporting a wide array of customers/initiatives. Their OSP group has multiple ongoing projects across the DMV footprint, with their most urgent need supporting broadband initiatives in St. Marys County. This work will include performing new builds for one of their customers and other local carriers. This work will include but not be limited to telecommunication/utility work, directional drilling, utility tracking, conduit/cable placement, and ground restoration. The Construction Manager will be providing oversight, quality control (redline/print reading), and guidance of a few small crews (Subcontractors and FTEs). The Construction Manager needs to be client facing, have the ability to perform light admin duties, and track/report milestones. Need to be able to provide coordination and close out documentation to end clients as well.

The current scope is projected to last another 3 years. They will get a take-home company vehicle and also have the option of staying overnight. If they choose to do so, then hotel and per diem will be provided.

Top Skills Details:

1. 3 years of OSP/Underground construction management.

2. Ability to run a few small crews and provide Quality Control in an OSP setting.

3. Experience utilizing OSP Insight or various other GIS tools (ability to read prints/redline/utility track).

4. Experience communicating with end client and work with various contractors.

Flexibility and Reliability is huge

Field OSP experience/willing to perform field duties is a must
