Job Title: TIG Welder

Job Description

A TIG Welder is responsible for tacking, welding, and assembling material for industrial parts according to drawing specifications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following: Safely operating in all areas is mandatory. Other duties may be assigned.

Hard Skills

2-5 years of experience

Ability to work safely and follow all rules

Set up TIG, MIG, & Stick welding machines based on the job requirements

Read drawings to determine specific welding requirements

Layout & weld heavy metal by blueprint from start to finish

Ability to operate fabrication machines such as plasma tables, press brakes, CNC punches, rollers, grinders, and drill presses

Soft Skills

Great attention to detail

Ability to support team members to maximize productivity and efficiency

Ability to assemble items as instructed by the shop foreman

Ability to prepare products for shipment

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Reidsville, North Carolina.

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled with older machines. It can be dirty, and requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment, engineering controls, defined procedures, and specialized training to reduce hazard exposure risks. Shift is Monday – Thursday from 6am – 4:30pm, with opportunities for overtime on Fridays, typically a 4-8 hour shift.
