Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Digital Process Engineer in Arden, NC.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 – $117700.04 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you’ll do:

The Digital Process Engineer is a well-rounded subject matter expert on many of our plant business processes and systems. This role is responsible for driving improvements in efficiency, quality & Safety in manufacturing operations through the appropriate I4.0 Tools. This role is the site lead for Process Control & Test (PCAT), Change Management, SharePoint, Excel Tools, ACAD macros and tools, and Microsoft’s Power Platform. The Digital Process Engineer will also take on project management responsibilities utilizing PROLaunch and must be comfortable with organizing and leading projects involving cross functional teams. This unique role must be at least an intermediate programmer, comfortable in the .NET framework & SQL database development.

A. Lead major projects to deploy I4.0 tools and technologies into manufacturing operations through a phase-gate project management process (PROLaunch (BPS)) and collaborating with cross-function resources to execute those projects.

B. Site lead for Process Control & Test (PCaT), Change Management, Excel VBA Tools, ACAD macros and tools, PowerApps, Power Automate and Power BI Premium Workspace

C. Serve as secondary support for remaining plant systems (MQ1, SharePoint, Enovia, POM, AS400)

D. Understanding of IT infrastructure & System Integration

E. Expertise in Lean Manufacturing & Sig Sigma

F. Respond to Business Process Requests (Help Tickets) pertaining to plant-maintained software systems, including being the Primary author on new, large-scale plant applications using .NET framework, SQL DB, SharePoint, and other available platforms.

G. Drive sustainable practices related to software development lifecycle (unit testing, refactoring, documentation, etc.)

H. Assist with training and development related to software systems used to help manage operations (AS400, Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, etc.)

I. Other duties, projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in engineering, IT, or computer science from an accredited institution required

• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience

• Must be eligible to work in U.S. without company sponsorship.

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the Arden, NC facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 Years of experience in Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement

• Exerience with:

o Open Shift / Kubernetes

o APIs

o C#

o Git Repositry

o VB.NET / VBA

o Site Specific Process Knowledge

o Microsoft Power Platform
