job summary:
An Operations Start-Up Leader is needed for the worlds largest food and beverage company in the Hartwell, GA area. The Operations and Start-Up Leader supports capital projects by managing operational processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring safety and compliance, and leading the successful start-up and transition of equipment and systems in a manufacturing environment.

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:
Support End-to-End (E2E) project team with scope development, risk management, and milestone identification.
Align external partners with project requirements and standards.
Lead operational requirement identification and success criteria development.
Provide input for operational budgets and track operational deliverables in the project schedule.
Develop ramp-up and start-up plans with the project team.
Coordinate and lead key project workshops (Scope Alignment, Kickstart, Operations Assessment).
Track progress on recruiting, staffing, and training for start-up.
Skills:
Leadership and team collaboration.

Knowledge of operational safety, commissioning, and start-up processes.
Expertise in business process improvement and change management.
Ability to track budgets, deliverables, and milestones within project schedules.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree with 3 years of experience in change management, business analysis, and project management in manufacturing, industrial, or military environments or
Associates degree with 5 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
1 years of experience in early management, operations, or start-up environments.
PMP or equivalent Project Management Professional certification.
