Installation Technician

Description:

Seeking a low voltage helper for the Bradenton/Sarasota area. Work will occasionally be in Tampa.

Work will consist of Running cable and conduit trimming out devices fore fire alarm, access control, cctv, and intruusion systems

50% commercial and 50% residential low voltage security work include fire alarm, access control, cctv, and intrusion systems

Fire alarm devices installed will incclude pull stations, speaker strobes, smoke detectors, heat detectors, duct detectors, relays, etc.

Access control devices installed will include maglocks, card readers, push buttons, door strikes, key pads .

Intrusion(burglar alarm) devices installed include door sensors, window sensors, glass breaks, thermostats, etc

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in electronic security.

The ability to take direction and learn on the job.

Technical, electrical or mechanical knowledge and abilities.

Self-motivated with a desire to learn, succeed and advance.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Must be able to climb ladders.

Must be able to work from a raised platform or man-lift.

Must be able to work independently or in a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Take direction and teaching well.

-Eager to learn more and develop in a career.

Experience Level:

Entry to Intermediate Level
