Role: Linux CentOS Solution Architect

Workplace Type: Remote

Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension or full-time employment)

Terms: W2 Contract

Compensation: 63.94 – 103.84

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux CentOS Solution Architect to join our team on a remote basis. This role is pivotal in reviewing and enhancing our payment architecture, with a focus on future-proofing our systems for 2025 and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct a comprehensive review of our payment architecture in November.

Quickly learn and understand the current system to identify opportunities for improvement from a payment perspective.

Provide recommendations on potential opportunities, including pros and cons, and identify gaps and remediation strategies.

Collaborate with our team of engineers, focusing on solution design and thought leadership.

Ensure the future-proofing of our payment systems.

Technical Requirements:

Extensive experience with Linux, particularly CentOS.

Familiarity with AWS and GCP, with experience in cloud-to-cloud migration being a plus.

Knowledge of security vulnerabilities and infrastructure-based backgrounds.

Experience with Puppet for configuration management.

Understanding of software applications within server environments.

Work Environment:

80-90% design and thought leadership.

10-20% hands-on technical work.
