KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – TOMAHAWK MACHINE OPERATOR

– Ability to build strong relationships, provide excellent customer service, and problem solve
– Must be capable of cleaning with chemicals using protective gear
– Capable of learning the function and design of different machines.
– Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, leads and Supervisors.
– Ability to work independently and follow written instructions
– Must be capable of reading and writing in English
– May be exposed to potential allergens
– Must be able to work safely in potentially slippery conditions
– Must be capable of climbing ladders and/or stairs.
– Review Spec Cards before set up (product, plate, and raw weight).
– Inspect all shadow boards and knife count for tool accountability.
– Set up and dial in tomahawks, belts, and metal detectors to ensure quality and safe product is made.
– Manage Factory Computer data and input information correctly.
– Manage Tomahawk settings and troubleshoot to ensure product appearance and weight is accurate.
– Manage Metal Detector settings and troubleshoot to ensure all metal wands are detected and distance is accurate.
– May be exposed to potential allergens.

– Safety/GMP/Food Safety/Quality policies followed
– BRC Compliance
– Reporting accuracy
– Customer requirements
– Attendance requirements met

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS – TOMAHAWK MACHINE OPERATOR

– Able of cleaning with chemicals using protective gear.
– Capable of learning the function and design of different machines.
– Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, leads and Supervisors.
– Ability to work independently and follow written instructions.
– May be exposed to potential allergens.
– Must be able to work safely in potentially slippery conditions.
– Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
– Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
– This position is an onsite position.
