Production Associate – Packaging
Ossian Smoked Meats Corp. is seeking motivated individuals to join our packaging team! Production Associates in the packaging department are responsible for sealing, boxing, and palletizing processed products in a fast-moving environment. The packaging department is responsible for achieving production goals while maintaining a high level of food safety and quality.

Requirements:

– Product inspection
– Packaging equipment operation
– Saw operation
– Product bagging and labeling
– Product boxing and palletizing

MinimumRequirements:

– High school diploma or GED
– Reliable transportation to/from work
– Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
– Able to stand for the duration of a shift, perform physical work, and lift up to 60 pounds

Desired Skills: (may be developed on the job)

– Food safety and sanitation
– Meat processing equipment operation
– Smokehouse operation
– Production logistics
– Wholesale food manufacturing

Schedule:

– Day shift only start at 6:00 AM
– Monday Friday
– Overtime and weekend shifts as needed
