Senior Quality Specialist


Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Department Leader to develop our quality department and truly take us to the next level. A hands-on leader that can implement policy and procedure with a strong background in CNC Cutting Tools and Job Shop environments.

Responsibilities:
– Oversee the quality department and ensure compliance with company quality policies and procedures.

– Tool Calibration experience. Capable of using calibration software (GageTrak)
– Develop and maintain quality inspection procedures, including the use of vision inspection systems and micrometers.

– Analyze quality data to identify trends and implement improvements.

– Collaborate with other departments to ensure that quality requirements are integrated into all aspects of product development and manufacturing.
– Train and develop quality team members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their roles effectively.
– Develop and maintain quality records and documentation.
– Implement a quality management system that meets the requirements of ISO 13485

Qualifications:

– Ability to stay on task and be self-motivated
– Proven experience in a quality management role, preferably in the medical device industry.
– Strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality inspection principles and practices.
– Experience with quality management systems such as ISO 13485.
– Experience in Cutting Tools preferred
– Ability to analyze quality data and implement improvements.
– Excellent communication and leadership skills.
– Experience with vision inspection systems and micrometers, surface plates, etc
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
