Assembler

JOB REQUIREMENTS: – Assemble, test, and package quality products in the
Valve, Manifold, Small Parts Assembly, and Packaging departments –
Perform a variety of assembly operations to assemble small and medium
sized units involving a considerable amount of parts – Recognize
defective parts – Work from drawings, specifications, and work
instructions using required measuring instruments and gauging devices –
Perform final assemblies, inspect and test – Perform fitting and
aligning activities to ensure free action of movable parts and operating
requirements – Set-up and run machines in assembly departments –
Maintain a neat and orderly work environment following the 5S standards
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: – Regularly stand, sit,
and use hands to handle or touch – Frequently talk or hear and use
foot/feet to operate machine/fixtures – Occasionally walk and reach
above shoulders – Regularly lift and carry up to 10lbs – Specific vision
abilities include close, distance, and color vision and the ability to
adjust focus – 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing with mechanical
assembly experience – Knowledge of manufacturing processes – Ability to
present an idea to a group – Ability to read policies, procedures,
picklists, routings, and work instructions – Adhere to PPE requirements
