
Partnership for Success Grant Specialist
FIRST DISTRICT HEALTH UNIT
The Partnership for Success Grant (PSF) Specialist is responsible for implementing the requirements and deliverables of the PSF grant as outlined in the Contract Deliverables/Scope of Work in the North Dakota Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) Partnership for Success (PFS) Project guidance. The PFS project will address alcohol use by focusing on selective prevention efforts. More specifics are available at www.fdhu.org.
Duties and Responsibilities:
[[Develop a coalition and collaborate with other key stakeholders to complete and submit a Community Needs Assessment]{calibri”,sans-serif”=””}]{gill=”” sans=”” mt”,sans-serif”=””}
– Develop a data-driven strategic plan and review and revise annually
– Implement data-driven and evidence-based strategies as identified in the strategic plan
– Track implementation and report monthly
– Work with area school districts to ensure participation in Youth Risk Behavior Survey and PFS Youth Survey as outlined in the PFS grant guidance
– Work with Minot Air Force base to ensure participation as outlined in grant guidance
– Work with Minot State University to ensure participation as outlined in grant guidance
– Work with PSF project evaluator as outlined in PFS grant guidance
– Develop a local evaluation and performance assessment plan to gather, analyze, and report relevant data results for prevention strategies
– Complete all required trainings according to the grant guidance
– Other duties as assigned

– Experience with public speaking

Bachelors degree preferred
Experience conducting Community Needs Assessments and developing Strategic Plans
Working knowledge of evidence-based prevention practices
Previous experience with community engagement and project development
Must provide own transportation for travel in the seven-county area (mileage reimbursement provided)
Must be able to travel overnight occasionally
