Job Title: Toolmaker/Manual Machinist

Job Description

Responsible for operating various manual machine tools and building fixtures from drawings or models. Operate, set up, and maintain various manual machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses, and other standard shop equipment. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and models to build and assemble high-precision fixtures and tools. Use a full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform inspections. Perform set-ups, tool offsets.

Hard Skills

5 years operating a Manual Mill and/or Manual Lathe machine

5 years experience drilling, tapping, deburring

Proficient with measurement tools – micrometers, calipers, gauges

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and models

Experience in building and assembling fixtures and tools with high precision

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Aston, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

This is a hands-on position requiring versatility. It is a machine shop environment with many deadlines. Work hours are Monday-Thursday 7am-4:30pm, Friday 7am-11am, with overtime available on specific jobs Monday-Friday 6am-4:30pm.
