Job Description

Seeking an organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to support the Sanitation Department at a food manufacturing facility. The Document Control Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the facility adheres to the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety. The role will support various Sanitation Department processes, including reviewing and filing completed sanitation records, assisting with daily reporting tasks, coordinating work plans for periodic cleaning tasks, and managing various administrative tasks to support Sanitation Management.

Responsibilities:

– Communicate with Sanitation, Quality Assurance, and Operations Management to develop a working knowledge of the facility’s current sanitation programs, key improvement priorities, and continual improvement action plans

– Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Sanitation Management Team, including reviewing and organizing departmental paperwork, reports, and documentation

– Maintain a variety of forms and records for sanitation programs, including daily cleaning records, Clean-In-Place (CIP) system documentation, and the facility’s Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS)

– Conduct periodic audits of completed sanitation documentation, as assigned, to ensure it is complete and accurate to satisfy all applicable regulatory, customer, and internal company requirements

– Support the scheduling and coordination of sanitation tasks, in conjunction with the MSS and ensure that all tasks are completed according to the established schedule

– Track and manage inventory of sanitation supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to ensure that all supplies are maintained and available

– Lead or support various administrative projects within the Sanitation Department as assigned, including process improvements and system enhancements

– Conduct other administrative duties, as assigned, to support Sanitation Management
